Ukraine recorded a commanding 6-0 win away to Andorra to secure the play-offs and hope for a possible qualification for the next World Cup.
Andriy Shevchenko started the series of goals in the 22nd minute and the first half ended with a score of 1-0.
Five goals were scored in the second half. Oleg Gusev (62′) doubled the lead, while Antonio Lima scored in his own goal (70′) for the result 3-0.
In the last ten minutes of the match, the Ukrainians scored three quick goals, through Yaroslav Rakitskiy (80′), Yevgen Seleznov (81′) and Andriy Yarmolenko (83′).
Croatia also scored a victory against Kazakhstan with a result of 2-1, but it has one point less than Ukraine, and is greeted by the World Championship at this stage.
From Group 6, England secured direct qualification, while Ukraine will seek the visa through the play-off.
