ST. CHARLES, MO. – Freshman Tasneem Dizdarevic, member of the Lindenwood women’s soccer program, is set to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina’s U-19 team in two international friendlies against Poland, in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“We are very excited for Tasneem and her opportunity to play with her National Team. We missed her Sunday, however any time a player can represent their country, it’s an awesome experience to learn and grow. Tasneem has a very high ceiling and it’s great for our program to work with her aspirations both collegiately and internationally,” said head coach Dave Musso.
In their first matchup (September 7, 2024) against Poland, the Dragons of Bosnia and Herzegovina fell to Poland 7-0. Dizdarevic’s next matchup against Poland will take place, September 10th at 3:00 AM CT.
Dizdarevic sits tied for the second most points on the team for Lindenwood with four (1g & 2a), coming in six games.
You can catch Dizdarevic and the Lions back in action, September 12, at 4:00 PM, when the Lions take on DePaul on the road in the final non-conference matchup of the 2024 campaign.
