Diplomat and former minister Xavier Espot Miró elected as the new President of the Andorran Olympic Committee (COA), replacing Jaume Martí who was President for 22 consecutive years.

The election of Mr. Miró decided had the unanimous approval of the 32 sports federations consisting the National Olympic Committee. The new mandate is for the period 2024-2028, which will include the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics and the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Games.

Toni Guerra will remain as Secretary General until the end of the 2025 Small States Games, which Andorra will organize from 26 to 31 May 2025.

The first vice-President is Albert Coma and the second is Anna García. Sònia Carrillo will be the Treasurer while the members of the board are Marisa Sánchez, Anna Maria Achon, Sílvia Daban, Antoni Crespo, Marc Rodríguez, Gabriel Guerrero and Sofie Juárez.

The ICMG President Davide Tizzano and the Secretary General Iakovos Filippousis on behalf of the Mediterranean sports family sent a congratulatory letter to President Zlatko Mateša.
