Zachery Ty Bryan has been arrested and charged with his second DUI of 2024.
The 43-year-old Home Improvement actor was booked by the Custer County Sheriff’s Office in Oklahoma around 8:34 a.m. local time on Friday, according to the sheriff’s office records, which also indicate that the former child star was charged with driving without a valid license.

A representative for Bryan and a representative for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly’s request for comment.
Bryan was previously arrested in February on a felony DUI charge and a misdemeanor contempt of court charge. He was also arrested in July 2023 on charges of felony assault, third-degree robbery, and assault, and pled guilty to felony assault in the fourth degree later that year, ultimately serving seven days in jail and 36 months of supervised probation, reports PEOPLE.Â
The actor was also arrested in October 2020 on a felony charge of strangulation and misdemeanor charges of assault and interfering with a police report. He pled guilty to two counts, menacing and assault in the fourth degree constituting domestic violence, in February 2021, per PEOPLE.
Bryan publicly addressed his 2020 arrest, which followed an altercation with his girlfriend, in 2023. “We didn’t even really get that physical,” he said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “We got really loud. We were screaming and because we were in a townhome that had [thin walls], everybody could hear… At the end of the day, [the police] throw a bunch of counts at you because they ultimately want you to plead to something.”

The actor played Brad Taylor, the eldest son of Tim Allen‘s Tim Taylor, on Home Improvement for eight seasons. Allen addressed his onscreen son’s recent legal issues in the same 2023 interview with THR. “I don’t know what’s going on with him,” the Santa Clause star said. “Zach is a great kid who has grown into a complex man. All you can do is step aside and let somebody go through their process. At a certain point, he deviated from the guy I know to somebody who is reacting to situations that I had nothing to do with and can’t control.”
Following his time on Home Improvement, Taylor appeared in episodes of shows like ER, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Veronica Mars, and Smallville, and also played a supporting role in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.Â
