Toni Bou arrives as series leader after two wins in Motegi (Japan). Gabriel Marcelli is third with 32 points.
The TrialGP World Championship goes to Sant Julià de Lòria this weekend, for the second round of the 2024 season. The Andorran town welcomes a motivated Repsol Honda Team after their results from the season opener. Toni Bou is the overall leader with 40 points and teammate Gabriel Marcelli is joint second with 32, level with Adam Raga.
After achieving two consecutive victories at Motegi (Japan) Bou has a perfect record so far this season in X-Trial and TrialGP. Last season he took two victories in the two events held in Sant Julià de Lòria, so the objective will be to repeat the result in Andorra and extend his advantage.
Marcelli is currently joint second, tied on points with Adam Raga. Last season, the Montesa 4RT rider did not have his best weekend in Andorra, and was fifth in the two days of competition. Since the present season got underway, the Galician has not been off the podium in the different disciplines in which he competes.
On Friday, technical and administrative verifications will be carried out, in addition to a visit of areas and training. The action in Andorra will begin on Saturday from 9am.
