YEREVAN, OCTOBER 24, ARMENPRESS. By decrees of the President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, several ambassadors have been recalled and newly appointed. Armen Sargsyan was recalled from the State of Qatar, Hrachya Poladyan from the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Sultanate of Oman, and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Vladimir Karapetyan from Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, Tsovinar Hambardzumyan from the Italian Republic, the Republic of Malta, and the Republic of San Marino, and Armen Yedigaryan from the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia.

The President has also made the following appointments: Ruben Soghoyan has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to the Republic of Iraq (with residence in Baghdad); Suren Baghdasaryan has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (concurrently) and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (with residence in Hanoi); Tsovinar Hambartsumyan has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Bulgaria (with residence in Sofia); and Vladimir Karapetyan has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Italian Republic (with residence in Rome).
