The CEC has published on its website a calendar plan of organizational measures for the preparation and holding of the presidential election in Belarus, BELTA reports.
The registration of initiative groups of presidential candidates will take place until November 1.
From November 7 to December 6, signatures of voters will be collected to support the nomination of presidential candidates.
From December 7 to 21, the CEC will accept the documents required for candidate registration.
The candidate registration will take place from December 22 to 31 inclusive. Candidates will be issued registration certificates within two days after registration.
From January 1 to January 25, 2025, the election campaigning and voters informing will take place.
From January 21 to 25, the early voting will take place, and January 26 will be the main day of voting in the elections.
The CEC will officially announce the election results no later than February 5, with a second round, if necessary, to be held no later than February 9.
