Ignacio Montenegro (Honda) set the fastest time in the first free practice session of the Touring Car category in the FIA Motorsport Games at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia.
Montenegro completed ten laps around the Spanish track to set a best lap time of 1:40.106 ahead of Aurélien Comte (Cupra) 0.131 seconds behind.
Local driver Eric Gené was third for Monlau Motorsport Cupra, 0.405 seconds off the top time.
The Cupras of Raphael Reis and Jenson Brickley were next, ahead of GOAT Racing’s Marco Butti (Honda) who was a full second behind Montenegro.
Adam Kout, driving the sole Hyundai Elantra N TCR in the event, finished seventh ahead of Zekai Özen, representing Turkey with an Audi RS 3 LMS, 2.2 seconds off the pace.
René Kircher (Honda) and Rene Povlsen (Honda) completed the top ten.
The TCR field is back on track on Friday afternoon at 15:35 CEST for the second free practice session.
