Meeting of Vice Ministers of Culture of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus held as part of Kyrgyz Days of Culture in Minsk

AKIPRESS.COM – Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Gulbara Abdykalykova held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Culture of Belarus Valery Gromada in Minsk.

The meeting was held as part of the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Belarus, the Ministry of Culture reported.

The sides discussed the importance of cultural exchange noting the role of such events for boosting friendly and partnership ties between the two peoples.

The Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan running in Belarus are aimed at introducing the Belarusian public with the unique cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan. The program includes various activities: arts exhibitions, musical concerts, theater performances and workshops on national applied arts.

Abdykalykova said that the cultural ties play an important role in development of diplomatic relations and strengthening of neighborhood contributing to the cooperation in various spheres.
