Japanese tourist killed, 10 others injured in bus accident in Malaysia A bus has crashed into a truck in the state of Perak, western Malaysia, killing one Japanese tourist and injuring 10 people.

The Japanese Embassy in Malaysia says the bus was carrying Japanese tourists and others when the crash took place on an expressway on Thursday.

The passengers included three Japanese men and eight Japanese women.

The embassy said the injured were taken to hospital. Local media reported that they included the bus’s driver and a tour guide.

Police are trying to determine the cause of the accident.
