Quinnipiac releases updated Michigan poll numbers
Quinnipiac is one of the most well-known polling organizations in US politics.
On Thursday afternoon, the researchers released updated numbers on the state of the presidential race in Michigan and Wisconsin. The report released earlier this month showed major signs that Vice President Kamala Harris was failing to reach voters. However, these results show that she is leading slightly in Michigan and tied with Donald Trump in Wisconsin.
In Michigan, Quinnipiac reported that Harris stood at 49 percent, Trump 46 percent, and the other candidates were polling around 2 percent. With a margin of error of +/—2.9 percent, the race remains too close to call with any real level of uncertainty, but the Harris camp will likely take the improvement well.
In Wisconsin, the two major candidates were tied at 48 percent, with a margin of error of +/- 2.9 percent as well.
