SAN ANTONIO – The embattled husband of missing Olmos Park mom and realtor Suzanne Simpson is asking to see his children while in custody.
On Wednesday, Brad Simpson’s attorney filed a motion with the Bexar County Clerk’s Office, requesting to see his four children while in custody at the Bexar County Jail.
A current condition of Simpson’s detention requires no contact between himself and his children. The motion claims that since the children aren’t directly involved in the case, nor is there reason to believe Simpson would be a flight risk, he should be able to see the children.
Brad Simpson is currently charged with Assault of a Family Member Causing Bodily Injury, Unlawful Restraint, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, and Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence.
Simpson is currently being held on a $3 million bond, as well as a federal detainer from the ATF on a separate firearms charge.
This comes as James Valle Cottor, who has also been arrested on charges connected to the case of Suzanne Simpson, has requested a reduction of his $500,000 bond, stating “this amount is excessive for the Defendant and his family.”\
