Which weapons are they going to use though?
US dictates the weapons usage, not the delivery method, just how it’s always been. Ukraine has had this exact same capability since the war’s inception with all aircraft at their disposal.
So, with OP’s claim, Ukraine can put pilots at insane risk and drop what kind of ordnance? Allowing the usage of F-16s in this manner doesn’t give Ukraine any new capability to strike RU.

Probably still cannot use American weapons with these strikes. But Ukrainians are clever I hope they come up with some alternative missiles to use.

The only substance to this is some countries in NATO have a spine, others not so much. Ukraine will not risk a valuable aircraft and a more valuable pilot for something a missile or drone could achieve. What’s missing from this is NATO countries collectively growing a back bone to beat Russia and ordering 24hr missile and shell production and giving Ukraine the permission to use as they see fit. We’re in the last chance saloon no matter how many feel good stories. Donald or Kamala in is now irrelevant Ukraine will bleed out before Russia/NK. Ukraine needs the means the West needs the will and Russia needs euthanasia.
