2.5 disel
207 000 km
I am planing to buy this van and I tried asking in the hyundai sub but there was no answer but maybe someone from Korea knows. There is only a few of these in europe and they all seem to have blown engines after 150k km. Is there a lot of these in Korea and are they considered reliable or not?

Currently, there are about 10 cars for sale on Korea’s largest used car trading platform, and there are many cars that have driven more than 150,000 km. I don‘t know what their actual condition is. car](https://fem.encar.com/cars/detail/37788505?listAdvType=share)

The Hyundai H1, also known as the Hyundai Starex in some markets, has been a popular van in various regions, including Korea. In Korea, it is commonly used for family transport and commercial purposes. Regarding reliability, the H1 has a mixed reputation.
While many owners have reported satisfactory performance and durability, there are concerns about certain engine issues, particularly with older models and those that have high mileage. The 2.5 diesel engine can be prone to problems if not properly maintained, especially with regard to oil changes and servicing.
In Korea, you might find more options available, and the vehicle’s maintenance history can vary significantly. It’s essential to check for service records and ensure that the van has been well maintained. If you’re considering purchasing one, it might be worth getting a pre-purchase inspection by a mechanic familiar with the vehicle to assess its condition.
Overall, while some H1s are reliable, caution is advised, especially with models that have high mileage and are older.
