    What would be interesting is to see this as % of population rather than absolute figures. That would give us a better understanding of the demographic distribution.

    In the real world if you have 4 apples which are red, and 3 which are green, and someone else has 500 apples which are green, and 4 which are red… There’s a bit of a difference in the way we’d then understand the significance of red apples.

    The fair amount of super old people from South Africa makes me wonder about the life expectancy inequality that country is experiencing.

    I cannot even imagine a country having +100k people who are older than 100. That’s an amazing statistic for the quality of healthcare and maybe “longevity” genetics yet most nations would consider this stat undesirable
