I posted a few days ago about clothing for a trip to Rovaniemi this winter and the comments were so helpful. One commenter mentioned boots, so wanted opinions.
We will be doing some outdoor things like sledding, northern lights hunting, Ranua, etc but nothing crazy.
These are the boots I currently have:

With the 2 pairs of Merino Wool socks, do you all think these should be sufficient?

Those are fine for anything not in deep snow, but you can also just buy some basic insulated rubber boots here, https://www.motonet.fi/tuote/jahtijakt-rannikko-neopreenikumisaappaat?product=55-21790
Thr description says those are designed to release to heat. I guess you’ll get cold feet.
