    Thanks Trudeau. Under Harper we were above par or close to it. Trudeau spent Canada into debt oblivion with nothing to show for it.

  2. Why does our relatively small economy continue to benchmark against the most powerful economy on the planet?

    Why are we not seeing comparison vs yen, euro, pound? (would that not fit the narrative?)

  3. Our dollar used to track really well against the price of oil. Oil was up, the dollar was up. Oil was in the tank, so was the dollar.

    Trudeau successfully wrecked our economy so well that he broke that connection. Now it doesn’t matter what oil is doing, our dollar stays low through it all. I don’t think many people realize just how hard that was to do. It means no one has any faith in our economy anymore even when one of our largest sectors and biggest exports is making money hand over fist.
