Gee councils continue to move way out of their scope. Maybe they should stick to rubbish collection and repairing roads

I know Morrison bought millions of these that haven’t been used but they’re completely past their used by date

  3. It’s a good start. Though I really wish they’d address my concerns about alien-human hybrid breeding facilities in the Antarctic. I just feel like the community is being ignored.

  4. Timely reminder while Victoria has local government elections on.

Please take some time to read up on all the candidates and put any of these people last.

  5. What is up with local councils lately? The biggest controversy I remember in mine was misappropriation of funds for an ugly statue made of milk crates. Now you have them attempting to legislate vaccines and institute book bans.

Keep the streets clean, keep the roads safe, keep the trees from collapsing and make sure your valued services are staffed and resourced. THINK global councillors, act local.

A pro Putin anti vaxer was elected by the people of Port Headland. Think I’ll strike that shithole off my holiday plans.

Innovative at least, mine just spends millions every year on blocking development in the land & environment court.

  8. Having dealt with councils in rural and regional areas, I can tell you that in most places you will not find a dumber group of people. Most of them are unable to grasp the objectives of their position, the very limited scope and authority they have or the proper processes they are required to follow. It is an incredibly life-sapping experience to have to deal with these morons.

They’re still banging on about vaccines? I thought the cookers had moved on to something else, especially with a US election coming up. Then again it is Port Hedland.

  10. Does this council realise that they can’t create laws that overrule state and federal laws?

    They’re a local council.

  11. I wonder how effective it would be to use the same language they use to deny climate change like “alarmism” or “marxism”.

Watch their heads spin if you can say being anti-MRNA because China didn’t use it is akin to communism. They don’t want evidence to ridiculous arguments, just gotta one up them on their craziness.
