  1. Whoever did this needs to hire a professional narrator. The content is great but it’s just painful to listen to.

    So here’s the TL;DW:

    When we look to what we can extract from regolith we need to be aware what the uses will be. Lots of things that require e.g. high strength steel on Earth (which require carbon that is hard to come by on the Moon) don’t need this on the Moon for subsurface habitats (less gravity, controlled temperature, little temperature change due to the regolith cover, …)

    Extracting a bunch of metals/metaloids (like aluminium, magnesium, chromium or silicon) can be done if you have access to enough energy with very little in terms of complex machinery.
