    What 8% was so convinced that russia is a reliable partner? Also Im pretty sure that neither candidate should be convincing in germany considering how poorly biden harris handled Ukraine and how trump prioritizes nato internal stability and getting the 2% spending. but luckily have congress.

    I’d be interested to see the % of people who deemed Russia trustworthy between 2008 and right before the invasion. How do they even justify the 8% in 2024?

    Remember that time that the president of France Mitterrand was trying to keep west and east Germany divided and weak, while the president of the US was saying “tear down this wall”?

    The US has a huge ethnic German-American population, and even in the aftermath of war we’ve never had a desire to tear Germany down, but to build it back up.
