Prisma Computers in Nicosia, my screen had a similar issue. Its was 2 weeks past the warranty but they were able to circumvent the warranty process and get it fixed for free.

Can’t recommend Prisma highly enough. I took my Mac in for a separate issue after a software crashed it and they discovered my macbook was part of a bad batch apple had recalled/produced and they replaced my screen for free (even though I hadn’t noticed any issues) which would’ve normally cost £900. They also fixed the software issue.
