I think we can assume that Russia is to blame and I hate to think what the autopsy will show.

So when do we stop calling them Russian POW camps and start calling them death camps? There is plenty of evidence from the occupied territories.

A Ukrainian journalist illegally imprisoned in Russia since last year has died during a prison transfer, a Ukrainian government official has said.
Viktoria Roshchyna disappeared on August 3, 2023, while documenting the horrors of Russian aggression in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Her detention was confirmed by Moscow in May the following year.
Roshchyna was being held in a prison in Russia’s southwestern city of Taganrog, near the Ukrainian border.
Her death was confirmed by Petro Yatsenko, a representative of the Ukrainian government’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, on Thursday.
While the cause of her death remains unclear, Yatsenko said: “If there are those responsible for causing her death, they will be punished.”
He also confirmed that Roshchyna was being prepared for a prisoner exchange, adding: “Her transfer from Taganrog to Moscow was part of the process of preparing for her release.”
“Unfortunately, we were too late,” he said.
Previously in 2022, Roshchyna was detained by Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) while preparing reports on the war in the Ukrainian regions of Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk but was released after 10 days.
After that, she continued to work as a journalist in Ukrainian controlled territories.
Tributes pour in
Following the news of her death, tributes poured in on social media from the journalism community and beyond.
Oleksandra Matviichuk, a Ukaininan human rights activist wrote on X: “Today, I learned the terrible news. Our colleague, journalist Victoria Roshchyna, died in Russian captivity.
“I have a question. What did they do with her? What could have been done to a young girl to make her die?
“I call on all journalistic organizations from different countries to officially demand an answer from Russia.” Nataliya Gumenyuk, a fellow journalist wrote: “Vika was the bravest, the most determined. She risked to tell the truth about [Russian] occupation.” The Coalition for Women in Journalism, an international organization that monitors the safety of female journalists, also strongly condemned her death, adding that it points to yet another “outrageous consequence of Russia’s illegal detention and treatment of journalists.”
It said: “A brave truth-teller, Victoria risked her life to expose the horrors of war.
“We are outraged and heartbroken by this news. Russia must be held accountable.”
A recipient of the International Women’s Media Foundation’s ‘Courage in Journalism’ award, Roshchyna had worked for a number of prominent media outlets, including Ukrainska Pravda, and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty

Another dies at Putin’s hands.

Trump appears to be a Russian asset. He has blood on his hands. So much blood. While Americans were dying of Covid he was sending Putin testing equipment which was in short supply. He spoke with Putin 7 times since leaving office according to Bob Woodward’s new book.
He says he will end the Ukraine war in 24 hours. No explanation how. We are just supposed to take him at his word. The biggest liar in history wants us to take him at his word. Meanwhile Putin slaughters women journalists.
He is Putin’s lackey. He is a treasonous snake and should be in jail not the White house. How can anyone be so stupid as to vote for him? It boggles the mind.
