Belgium is one of the highest?? Hmm, you don’t often associate the country with life satisfaction :p

  2. Latvian bros suffer.

Not suprised about Germany. While the standard of living is still high and higher than Eastern Europe, the future looks bleak af. It will only get worse and worse.

I myself am looking towards east and west for new opportunities.

  3. Listening to everyone around me complain about everything all the time I’m surprised we got as high as 5.9.

  4. Hungary at 7.2!? I genuinely don’t remember hearing a positive note regarding any territories of the daily life there (for very understandable & clear reasons)

r/Europe is a collection of astonishingly terrible maps.

The scale of possible responses here is 0-10.

Without the outlier of Bulgaria, all results lie between 6.9 and 7.8. So not even one point.

The result of this survey would be that on national average, Europeans are pretty satisfied.

Use bins 0.2 points wide and a terrible disproportionate colour scale going from blue to yellow, the map makes it look like differences are huge.
