  1. Just another man facing very little punishment for violence towards a woman in a country that sees a different woman murdered by a man every 3-4 days. Wonder if those two things are related somehow…

  2. Do you mean stalker Joshua Alan James Wootton, aka Joshua Wootton from Oran Park NSW who stalked a woman with a tracker and smashed her phone?

  3. I had no idea that having anxiety, stress and depression entitled me to commit crimes. BRB

“Wait, so if I want to be an abusive human being with no consequences all I have to do is become a police officer? And they’ll pay me to be an abusive POS? And statistically the majority of my co-workers will also be abusers? And I get to strip search under-age children? What’s the catch?”

~ How I imagine the next generation of police beginning their law enforcement career.

  5. Tracked her car FOR A YEAR and blamed it on depression? I’ve had depression, anxiety and PTSD for a decade and never once has it led me to stalk someone much less track their car for a year! That’s criminal not mental health, deal with the criminality ffs!

  6. Reading the article it says he crushed a woman’s phone in his bare hands out of jealous rage in 2015, and then became a cop in 2019.

I’m not reading that timeline incorrectly, right? He did crimes, then was accepted into the police, then dismissed four years later for some reason? Was this at least the reason he was canned or is there more?

  7. >His mother, father and partner all wrote letters to the court supporting the ex-cop.

    >”The person I met two years ago is different to the man he is today,” his partner wrote.

Does this mean they knew he was an unstable stalker with anger issues and they pursued a relationship with him anyway?

  8. >Joshua Alan James Wootton, 34, had a low likelihood of reoffending after successfully treating the depression, anxiety and stress that led to his prior behaviour, a court was told on Thursday.

It aint zero likelihood. Watch my words as this POS will end up again in court abusing another woman or worse…

  9. Wow I can’t believe the guy in the thumbnail is a stalker ex-police officer who put a GPS tracker on a Sydney woman’s car. He doesn’t look the type.
