My wife’s work just started a running club, and the first day, most of them arrived completely kitted out with brand new, never been worn running gear. It was all expensive stuff, too. Some were even turning up with hydration vests for a 5km run around a track.
Anyway, less than a month later and about 60% of those people already aren’t attending anymore.
