Over 92% of LNP state MPs voted for Abortion to be illegal in Queensland in 2018.

Including their current Leader & Deputy Leader, who said: “I do not support the decriminalisation of abortion in Queensland”

Now that the KAP have confirmed they will move a private members bill to make abortion illegal in Queensland – what will the LNP do?

  2. Why are we so hard for America. Like even the most stupid things they do our government just goes yep that’s a great idea let’s do that too. It’s insane.

  3. This is why I think it’s crazy dumb some of my rellies vote LNP because they’re thinking with their money, when they’re otherwise very progressive and are actually voting against their core principles if the LNP get in. They heavily use Medicare, support gay marriage and LGBTQI rights, and support freedom of choice when it comes to abortion. But no, conservative economics is somehow more appealing??? Do they not see they’re selling their principles for a supposedly fatter super fund?

(and yeah, the question is out whether the economics would really be that different with either party, but they are comfortable with their financial status quo and are scared at the slightest sniff of it being unturned and apparently are willing to throw their principles under the bus for that).
