I am making this thread for the women/girls who will be looking for opinions on cosmetic procedures in the future. I see that there is a lot of talk about how these are harmless interventions and only the successful examples are shown, but there is no talk about the risks and harms of them. In addition, even in cases where the result is initially good, there are long-term consequences of injecting a foreign body under the skin. For example, reduced blood supply, which as well as being a health risk, can also age the skin faster than normal. Plastic surgery is a great discovery and salvation for people who need it (they have had an accident and are disfigured), but it is not worth it for normal looking healthy people.
If you have decided to do some procedure yourself, do it. No one can or should stop you. But before that, watch this video to be more informed. And be prepared to bear the consequences of your own decisions. The video: https://youtu.be/AovsfBpR21g?feature=shared
A short summary of the video in a few points: – There is not much information and complaints on the Internet, because the victims are ashamed and afraid. They threaten them and make them not talk about their case. I checked if there are similar videos with stories from Bulgarian women and unfortunately I didn’t find any. – The woman is 30 years old and until recently she did not want to do procedures, but at one point she gave in because of the content on social networks and "example" to other women. He decides to get a very mild nose lift. The man does not succeed in dissuading her. A prime example of the harm of consuming too much content on social media today. – There are unsuccessful results of interventions even with the greatest and recommended professional doctors/surgeons. If you think about it, it’s logical – no one can predict 100% how a person’s body will react (everyone’s body is different to some extent) in contact with hyauron, silicone, Botox, etc. – The woman has spent over BGN 8,000 on treatment in 1 year and has still not been able to fully recover – Some of the risks are: • the appearance of blood clots (clots), which can cause a heart attack or stroke, i.e. death • tissue necrosis ( the skin on your face starts to die/rot), check what it means "necrosis"
• blockage of blood vessels • other risks to your life, health and beauty, because if something seriously goes wrong, at best you will be disfigured and it will be difficult to restore your face
Fun fact: Have you heard of the golden ratio? It tells us that the most attractive ratio for the human eye between the sizes of 2 objects is 1.618. Which applies to all kinds of objects and objects in everyday life, including some of the proportions in the human body. One of these proportions is the ratio between the size of the upper and lower lips. It turns out that it is most attractive if the lower lip is larger than the upper one by 1.618 times (the number is approximate, it is not bad to have a slight discrepancy, no one will measure your lips). In over 90% of people, the lips are not small (you think yours are small because of the examples on social media) and the lower lip is bigger, they are not equal and this is normal. When you put on a hyauron, you think of the upper lip as small and make it even with the lower lip. But she was actually normal and you made her look worse aesthetically.
