  1. “Plus I got slugged $8”

If you have the opal app, it’s easy to get a refund on an incorrect fare.

  2. Oh shit.

I was at Chatswood earlier today.

Glad I decided to go there are lunch, not after work.

  3. Strange the metro signs don’t say this since it’s all part of the same station

    Hope everything is OK.

  4. While it’s likely a test or a error, exit the station right away and ask a staff member if you find one.

  5. *stares at at screens

“Well, good thing I’m catching the M1 so I guess I can ignore the emergency warnings…”

The fire emergency system is linked to the information screens regardless of false alarm or not. Best to just follow the instuctions rather than to fuck around and find out lol.

Not seeing anything in the news or besides here. But best to follow the directions regardless if you haven’t already.

  8. There’s another Reddit post from about two months ago with the same message at Chatswood. They really need to get their shit together.

  9. It was a short in one of the escalators causing it to smoke and trigger the fire alarm. All back to normal now.
