  2. Smashing your way through a forest seems incredibly selfish. Are they going to replant and restore the swathe of damage they’ve caused? No, but they should be made to.

  3. I nearly did that after hitting a waratah(steal fence post), luckily it hit part of the chassis(an old Nissan Safari) and stopped the 4WD dead in its tracks.

    Had a mate that was driving a ZC Fairlane, collided with the end of a sturdy fence and the lower horizontal timber that held all of the upright fence palings in place went thru the grille, engine bay and firewall and came thru in the same way only it was significantly thicker and hardwood (1980’s). Stopped at his chest. Very 🤬 lucky indeed. (Edit: inner city residential suburban street)
