It is a very wreckable city, credit where it’s due.

Ahh yes that day when the kaiju broke through the supposedly kaiju-proof wall will always be in my memory. What a close one

I remember when Godzilla visited… solid bloke, good times.

don’t forget the time a couple fish dropped in and wreaked havoc in some dentist’s office fish tank. That was the wildest of all.

Scared the shit out of me.
One morning I was coming off of the ferry at circular quay. Chill morning but in the back of my mind the few random attacks on European cities that had recently occured (can’t quite remember which, but maybe the Christmas market attacks).
All of a sudden there’s a huge crowd screaming and running from the bridge towards the station. The alarm bells go off for me and others around me… Until we round the corner and see fences with “filming in progress” signs.
Pretty sure it was Pacific Rim.
Phew!
Hung around for another 10mins to see everyone reset and run screaming again.

Why would Dan Andrews let any of this happen?

The Independence Day one bothers me. How tall do the VFX artists think Sydneysiders are that they’re that big on the harbour bridge?

The “coastal” defence wall from Pacific Rim still gets me. Straight under the bridge.

To be fair, Godzilla brought a lot of tourism after his appearance

Snow in the Botanic gardens would be pretty awesome though.
