This annoys me so much. You can call the cops, they will try and contact the owner but that can be hit and miss. The ranger at the local council doesn’t work on weekends and will only turn up during the week if they’re around. Basically it’s that black spot where it falls between jurisdictions and no one takes ownership.
You just end up stuffed and can’t leave. And the dude who parks across the driveway like this gets away with it. And what’s the most annoying part is that they are probably totally ok with being the inconsiderate asshole

A mate of mine got tired of having his driveway parked across and bought himself a set of wheel dollies which allows him to crank the car up and move it around.  Leave an abandoned car in the roadway and the cops turn up quickly.  It’s incredibly stupid and unsafe for him to do this but he justifies it saying it happens enough that it’s impacting his life.  I’m waiting for the cops to get sick of his gameÂ

What if we were able to drag the car into the middle of the street, blocking traffic? Who has authority then?
