Now put numbers how much for a dentist visit in each country. In Poland, for example, it costs half of a regular monthly payment for major dental services.

  2. The first Google search shows that there are about 77k active dentists in Russia. This is 5.3 per 10k of the population. I wonder what data was used to create this map.

  3. Not surprised by Sweden. You can’t walk along one street without seeing at least two private dentist clinics.

In some countries with ostensibly low number of dentists those actually wear uniforms and cure your dental problems with a baton – once and for all.

  5. Yeah, that number for Montenegro, let’s just say it’s BS. I’m sure we’re no Sweden, but 0.59 per 10k, that’s what, 36 dentists total. Just a quick Google maps search, shows 17 dental practices in the city with some 60k people, I’ve spotted at least one missing, and there is more than one doctor per practice, so being conservative, that is 24 doctors total, or 4 per 10k. And it’s most likely 5 per 10k people. And it’s not in the richer part of Montenegro, so I’m confident to say that this map is BS.

How can Bosnia and Serbia be so low, while Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania are so high?

There bo freaking way the number for Russia is so low. Dentistry Faculties are the most desired among young doctors pursuing higher education.

  8. Someone please invest in dental schools in Kosovo, they must all be toothless by now

That means technically speaking there’s only around thirty or so dentists in Montenegro.
