Tim Walz was a leader in my high school classroom. He’ll be one for our country, too.

Watching the debate with my wife and around the sixth or seventh time he talked about Minnesota, my wife and I looked at each other at the same time and almost said the same words “we should move to Minnesota.” Lol

  2. JD Vance was the best employee in my furniture store. Always the first to arrive and last to leave. That’s commitment.

  3. haven’t you ever had a teacher that you felt like would make a great President or VP? what kind of traits or communication style did they have?

  4. >It was the morning of Sept. 11, 2001. While in my first class of the day, the North Tower of the World Trade Center was struck. By third period, the South Tower had collapsed.
I was in Mr. Walz’s class then, and he wasn’t his usual, animated self. No one was. We watched in horror as the events of the day played out in front of us on television.
And as a blanket of uncertainty and fear loomed over us, Mr. Walz turned off the broadcast and gave us simple directions: Go outside.
Gathered under the Minnesota sun, he led us through that terrifying stretch. Together, we cried, prayed, and reflected on what we had just witnessed.

I wouldn’t know what to do as a teacher. Looks like they have discretion on how to lead the class during tragic moments

Everyone Tim Walz has ever worked with loves him. Everyone Trump has ever worked with thinks he’s horrible.

  6. obviously the first female president would be a huge first for this country, but the first public school teacher to hold a position that high would also be very special. this dude is a normal
guy who happens to extraordinarily decent. please elect this ticket

  7. Listening to Waltz in the debate made me proud to be a teacher in this country. I feel like he truly gets it and is going to just keep making positive social change that we so desperately need right now.

    Get out and vote!

  8. I think it should be mandatory for all future presidential candidates have at least 3 years in positions like teacher, nurse, janitor, service, etc. because the characteristics that are successful in those positions are essential for who becomes president.

No more trust fund babies getting nepotized into government leadership. I want real people who have morals and integrity in positions of leadership, power, and authority
