  1. Wait until Netanyahu (Trump’s buddy) blows up the Iranian petroleum production and screws gas prices around the world.

  2. bluegrassgazer on

My wife works in a medical office and one dude was going on and on about how this was going to wreck the economy and it was all Biden’s fault. She asked him if the strike is over before the election would Biden then get the credit, and he just turned around and took a seat in the waiting room without saying anything else.

  3. Eh, there were a ton of Liberals here pitching a fit and claiming the strike was some conspiracy to fuck over Harris’ campaign as well. Except they didn’t shut up once the deal was struck

Edit: Y’all are really going out of your way to prove my point. Really don’t want to admit that some of you fell for a bullshit conspiracy theory based on nothing. Otherwise, you would have celebrated the fact that the strike ended way earlier than anticipated, is set to not interfere with the election cycle at all, *and* that workers got a lot of what they requested. But you’ve all shown too much of how anti-union/worker you actually are

  4. Negative news stories about the union boss start to appear, and the strike suddenly ends one day later.

  5. now go and enjoy your fortress of TP and paper towels, idiots. Creating false demand will obviously *not* raise prices…..oh wait….YES THE FUCK IT DOES

  6. I was aware of the impending union strike, but it seemed like in MAGA-world, this was going to be a 9/11 type of earth shattering event. My media bubble includes news like that, but theirs hyperfixates on whatever talking point they want to blow up at a given moment.

  7. And it was a huge headline when it happened, but go look on the major news sites and it’s nowhere to be found now that it’s over.
