The most effective protest is not to use the platform. And nothing they can do can stop you from protesting in that way.
this just proves again that the only effective form of protest against these things is stopping using them. we’ve done it in the past, we’ve done it recently with Twitter/X, nothing will stop us doing the same to Reddit if the need ever really arised.
And user numbers will drop, you’ll act shocked and the stock price will rise because this is all fake as… plastic.
Well there is AI now. So if people want to protest as part of some future event, mods could just stop filtering spam, and encourage users to post and upvote AI generated nonsense

Why would a private company allow you to protest them… on their own platform? That would be stupid as hell. If you want to protest Reddit you stop using Reddit.
Set the sub’s spam filter to All, then every post has to be approved before being visible.
