I actually think this was a weak moment by Waltz.
It should have been two pronged attack IMO.
1) point out that Vance claims to want to go to the future but brings up something from 2020 – choose your lane JD .. Either what happened in 2020 matters or it doesn’t.
2) Point out that Vance himself has said he would not have certified the election. Ask him that since the will of the people was clear, that all 50 states had certified it what power does the federal government have to deny what the states said was true?
What kind of federal take over of states rights is he now supporting?

As a dumbass, who speaks more eloquently than the orange dumbass, Vance should have anticipated this issue coming up in the debate, and figured out if he was going to tell the truth or just say he supports Trump’s viewpoint on the matter.
