This got a bit of discussion on /northernireland so figured would be fun to post it here aswell. My friend helped the rapgroup Kneecap to build a website where you can "adopt Irish words, pledging to be lifelong ambassadors for them, to protect and promote the language by encouraging organic engagement, one word at a time." What do guys think? I thought it was cool initiative!!

    One thing I always say to my kids in Irish is trasna an bhóthair. They also both love the word stocai

  2. Didn’t Manchán Magan do a art project with this premise years ago.

    But why settle for 1 word, we live in Ireland we could just all learn a bit more than we currently have
