This is just a circus. I wouldn’t trust her or her husband to water my plants but this is too minor an issue to focus this much attention on and derail the whole country’s political environment over. There’s no evidence of a quid pro quo (by their standards the bag wouldn’t even be expensive enough to justify any favors) and she’s not an actual official.
Get them for something that’s actually meaningful or just get back to business and wait until they retire in feckless disgrace.
