Sadly many Canadians ignore this because it’s brown on brown crime.

Interesting that this wasn’t covered by main national news orgs

    Edit: typo

Perhaps it’s time to have a hard conversation about whether or not Kirpans should continue to be subject to religious protections.

Holy shit. They’re starting to hit journalists – national, well-known journalists. That’s a potent jump in the Indian violence between sects that’s, you know, not in India.

I hate both-siding things here, however, Vancouver just had a hit against a pro-Khalistani person. Shots fired in public in the middle of the day.

I really don’t like importing tribal warfare from other countries.

This is only the beginning. If it isn’t stopped and treated as a criminal offense, it could mark the rise of a Canadian mafia.

  5. Violence has no place in our society. I hope that those responsible for this act are brought to justice.

  6. The reason why these peopl are not in India is because we allowed the majority of them to come here already.

And now that they are here, they will not go back to the places where they were considered a laughing stock.

Canada just need to toughen up and face the music. It maybe hard to listen to but its reality, a reality that is dire to every Canadians.

We need to prioritize domestic issues and stop involving ourselves in foreign issues, importing problems and then split ourselves into splintered labelled groups to fight over issues that do not concern us.

I really don’t understand what the movement thinks its going to accomplish? Like, they want a separate state basically right? And there’s maybe a couple million Indians living here in Canada. Of those not all are Khalistan supporters obviously, fewer than a million certainly. So they do referendums out here, gathering a few thousand votes or signatures or whatever it is, and bring it to the government of India. A cool BILLION people live there, so on what planet is that ever going to pass? Why do we let this fester when its an impossible thing they are trying to achieve? Why do we allow extremist ideologies fester and damage our reputation globally? Why are we allowing Canadian citizens to be put in harms way? Simply because we wont call a spade a spade and deal with extremist terrorism on our own soil.

I love the diversity they’re helping to foster in Canada. So inclusive and equitable 😊

    Canada welcomes you 😄🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

  9. LOL, this source is garbage. Not saying the incident didn’t happen, but the motive is just baseless speculation from this trash website.

And this “Satkar committee” mentioned has nothing to do with Khalistan. Can’t trust Indian media to give any fair reporting about Sikhs.
