  1. Let’s face it: Vance himself is, even without the whole twisted set of beliefs that he has, inherently creepy.

There’s just something about him that is just inexplicably…”off”. Something doesn’t feel quite right about him, it’s unsettling, and it comes out every time he is on screen, which won’t do him wonders at the debate. Same thing with DeSantis and Gaetz.

The way he talks just feels robotic, monotonous, and not genuine enough. There’s…nothing about him that makes him appealing, to anyone really. He’s also really awkward and stiff in public. None of the unintentional entertainment factor that Trump has that has the media hooked on him, or any of the odd charisma that Trump inexplicably has over his base. I doubt even the base even likes Vance that much. He’s also a smug dickhead who only cares about himself and nobody else.

His eyes too. Fuck me, they are terrifying to look at. They are cold & dead. No emotion in them whatsoever.

That is…not a great thing for a debate. Because that creepiness will be all that people talk about.

  2. Isn’t it fascinating that what some call “weird” might just be the new normal? Should we embrace more quirks in politics?
