  1. How is this not corruption? Why would this be announced if they’re not coluding together?

Why do we roll over for corporations to make unending profits?

We need to become more French in this regard.

The energy credits shouldn’t be for everyone.

The predication of the give away budget is scary. It will be good in the short term for the minister for finance and the government. In the long run, it’s foolish.

  3. An absolute disgrace.

This government is more than happy to allow organisations to absolutely milk the very people that vote for politicians to represent them.

They are treasonous in every sense of the word.

Fairly sure EI have already said they won’t apply the levy to bills. Any additional levys should be paid by those who don’t switch every year and leave the rest of us out of it.

  5. Meanwhile ESB turned a pre-tax profit of €1.1 billion last year.

We need a regulator that controls prices like the UK have

  6. To be fair the PSO changes on 1st October most years, so it’s timing isn’t odd in any way at all like Boylan is saying, it’s just shit in general.

  7. Nationalise the energy companies. Stop this loophole of giving us energy tax credit for our energy bills. We’re still paying for it. Fuck me I hate fine gael and fianna fail. Pure corruption
