  1. You must give more details about the book, author, context, etc. Otherwise, it sounds like Armenians claiming Armenia existed 10k years ago because someone mentioned the word Armenia in a book that was rewritten 50 times.

    sources, caption and translations:

    this is ***Tārīkh-i Jahāngushāy-i Juwaynī*** book from 1297, written about mongol and ilkhanid conquests and dictionary part of it says:

    >Aran and chopran are Vilayets of azerbaijan Ganja, Barda and ***** are among its cities.

    Also it says an interesting meaning for “Armen”

    >Armen is a mountain vilayet of Azerbaijan which is birthplace of Shirin

    So why didn’t you name your country, Aran ? According to this, Aran was the historical name of that region! Why did you decide to call it Azerbaijan?!
