  1. When i went on tours by Korean companies they had that too. Locked us in a small room to hear a sales pitch on mattresses on Vietnam and I was like are they going to ship the mattresses to Korea and they said they have a headquarters in Korea lol. In Thailand got locked in a jewelry store and they physically blocked the door when I needed to pee.

There is a reason when something is low cost. Most likely these agencies are bringing people with a loss and trying make money with sales or they might get money per person who enters the shop.

If you don’t want this. Pay more.

  3. This isn’t new at all…my dad booked a Jeju-do tour in the early 2000’s and we went from store to store. By the end, my dad refused to get off the tour bus. I vowed never to go on these package tours again.

  4. I hate these tours as well. Went to Hong Kong with my dad a couple years ago, the guide took us to the shittiest restaurants and weird medicinal tea places to buy the scummiest items.

Much better to research ahead of time, enjoy yourself at your own pace instead of using these shit tour companies.
