  1. It gives the illusion that the height is proportional to the distances on the map. If you look from space, it wouldn’t look this way.

    this is posted every day, but I still enjoy looking at these

    today’s details I’m curious about are South America’s Western Coast and that Spain is much more mountainous than I would have expected

  3. Maps like these need to be incorporated into history lessons. It would really add context when talking about the movement of people, and show how geography can impact history
