The craziest thing about this is that inflation is at least in part Trump’s fault. When the fed wanted to start raising rates in 2018 and 2019, Trump was on twitter threatening to fire the fed chair. If they had raised interest rates a few times prior to covid, there would have arguably been more fiscal tools available besides printing stimulus money.
The fact that Democrats are not yelling about how Biden got Trump’s inflation under control is a big missed opportunity IMO.
