  1. He has no idea what he’s saying… Bernie says a 15% cap on credit card interest rates, Trump says make it 10%. In his mind he’s doing better but just entirely misses the point that he’s literally promoting *socialist economic policy*… Just fucking clueless.

The problem isn’t so much what he said, it’s more that he has no idea what the fuck he’s talking about… Ever. It’s just whatever talking points come to mind at the time, no understanding, just some random “better” to him verbal diarrhea.

  2. Lol did we need a study for that?

When you tax imported goods, that cost gets passed off to the consumer.

When you deport people doing incredibly tough jobs for less pay, the end cost of those jobs also gets passed off to the consumer.

I would say “Trump is dumber than a rock” but that feels insulting towards rocks.

  3. Half of America forgot he was president for 4 years and failed. He had us in a fucking trade war which had decreased our gdp. I’m so tired of trying to talk facts with fucking morons that live in different realities

  4. Not that I trust what he would do instead, but he’s lying and won’t do these things. Build a wall? Yeah sure. The only thing sure is that his rich buddies will get a payoff

It’s remarkable how the GOP’s case for electing 🍑🍑 is the like the theme from “All In the Family” … *Boy the way Glenn Miller played, songs that made the hit parade, guys like us we had it made, those were the days!*

Now we have inflation of two and a half percent, it’s like the seventies all over again, lemme tell ya…

Trump being trusted in economy shows how stupid a lot of people are.

Just look at how his DJT performs. This fraudster has filed bankruptcy 6 times. Have you seen anybody filed that much?

He is a convicted fraudster. How can you trust him with our money?

He is not a good businessman. He is NOT a self made man. His wealth didn’t come from his own hard work. He inherited his money and been borrowing from banks. He went bankrupt 5 different times. Only in his own mind, he is the greatest at everything. Even things he knows absolutely nothing about, he considers himself an expert on it. I have respect for my elders, but not this childish idiot

  8. He thinks there’s an easy button for everything. It may be a surprise to him, but you can’t cheat and scam your way into a better economy.

  9. Trump is crazy on so many levels but he knows what he’s doing. All this tariff talk is tied to his overall assault on illegal immigration. Make people mad about anything foreign even if it is self-destructing.

  10. To so many, it doesn’t matter – AT ALL.

His voters only care that he validates their feelings of hate towards others. They may say otherwise, but deep down, having your worst biases validated by a presidential candidate is all it takes to get their support.

But all the Republicans are telling me I’m being too dramatic and that another Trump presidency wouldn’t be a big deal…

  12. Fewer jobs were added under Trump’s first 3 years than Obama’s last 3, despite the artificial deficit-financed stimulus that put us at a $1 trillion deficit going into the pandemic. The jobs recovery under Biden has been far stronger than economists expected.

  13. Yes but think of the corporate profits, stock buybacks, CEO pay, and all around good fun of fucking over working people… /s

He’s like someone took an Econ 101 course but dropped out mid-semester and walked away thinking tariffs are great and should be used whenever possible.

  15. while inflation is low right now, has anyone actually seen any reduction in pricing? Gas prices are the only thing i noticed, but it’s always cheap during elections

  16. My study finds Harris hasn’t done a press conference in over 60 days. She is not presidential material.

It’ll be worse than that if he replaces federal workers with his Project 2025 toadies, they haven’t got a clue how to run government and we’ll end up in a deep recession if not a depression

  18. People on the right are complaining about how bad the economy is right now. Just wait until it is actually bad, it will be 10x more painful. This is an important moment. We can move forward and likely keep off a recession or have a very mild one. With Trump’s vision, we will have more hatred, inflation, and massive gaps in jobs in hospitality, construction, etc.

  19. Perfect for Trump. Less debt to service, higher asset values and an entire lower class to shame, blame, and rule over…

  20. The craziest thing about this is that inflation is at least in part Trump’s fault. When the fed wanted to start raising rates in 2018 and 2019, Trump was on twitter threatening to fire the fed chair. If they had raised interest rates a few times prior to covid, there would have arguably been more fiscal tools available besides printing stimulus money.

The fact that Democrats are not yelling about how Biden got Trump’s inflation under control is a big missed opportunity IMO.

  21. How many conservatives are willing to be migrant farmers that live nomadically in central California for months on end picking fruit and vegetables?

I do not recall any of them clamoring for those jobs.
