That said, check 44-45 seconds. You hear the shots, and Trump swats at his ear like he was stung by something before being tackled to the ground. It’s not the flinch, but him moving his hand to his ear before the tackling that leads me to believe he was grazed.

The FBI said to Congress they were not positive it was a bullet that hit Trump. It’s far more likely it was a fragment of the shattered teleprompter. But they didn’t want to definitively state “it wasn’t a bullet,” because MAGA world is a nest of hornets.

There are really many things that don’t make sense, the reports of people complaining that someone with a gun getting on the building 15 mins before the shooting, a crows nest that the only job is to check snipers on the zone, and only having one building with the capacity to get a shooter, no medical report, how quickly he “healed”, etc….

To ensure that it doesn’t destroy us, we need to lower the overall temperature.
I’m whole heartedly of the mind that only MAGA and its GOP Fox sycophants are to blame. They’ve been spewing hate towards their fellow Americans with differing political and social views for decades now. Sowing distrust of one half of our two party system. Vilifying Democrats and promoting a zero sum mindset.
Then you have the perpetrators crying foul when the violence intended for Democrats spills over onto them. The legacy GOP is fully to blame here. Pre MAGA they pushed culture war. They spawned and then almost lost control of their “Tea Party” movement.
These were the disorganized seeds of MAGA. Those elements coalesced with conspiracy nuts, far right and neo Nazi groups into the anti-American Christian Nationalism movement we see today. I think it’s a loose coalition, but that has proven incredibly damaging and dangerous.

I wrote the following to the credulous a few days ago, and the comment about the “100 million people” was to address disbelief that Trump would sacrifice the life of a rally sucker to give his staged event more credibility.
Are you implying it’s plausible this wasn’t staged, that the most prolific liar in history was miraculously only nicked in the ear by an AR-15 round, that the SS stood him up to put him back in the line of fire so that he could be photographed, blood on face, fist in the air, with an American flag in the background, two days before the RNC, and 3-4 days before fellow reality TV scammer Hulk Hogan was to speak at the RNC? I’m not implying Hulk Hogan was “squib adviser” or Mark Burnett directed the whole thing, but theirs is the world Trump hails from. Faking this is exactly the sort of thing Trump would do, and if you don’t know Trump would sacrifice 100 million people to save himself, you’re hopelessly naive.
Nothing that’s been revealed since has convinced me it’s real. Let’s see:
1. There was a letter from the alcoholic demoted freak “Ronny Jackson” who claimed in his once official capacity that Trump could live to 200, but apparently the personnel who actually “treated” his “injury” remain under ironclad NDAs.
2. Trump has released no photograph of his “injury” but instead showed up at the RNC with a ridiculously huge piece of gauze to cover up its absence. If it were real, he would’ve gotten Kaitlan Collins to host another infomercial for him.
3. Two days after FBI Director Wray testified to Congress they don’t know what struck Trump, the FBI did a 180 and claimed it was a bullet with no evidence to back it up. Someone clearly got to them.

The Presidential move would have been to secure everyone ensure their safety and make the focus be about the supporter who died and the family that is left behind due to this senseless act of violence. Not fist pumping and stoking the rhetoric political violence calling it an attack from the left.
