    I’ve been saying for a few years now that the Information Age is coming to an end. Between low quality AI generated content, SEO, and LLMs that hallucinate and can’t or won’t cite their sources, finding information that is relevant, accurate, and useful is becoming much harder.

  2. There’s the focus on the problem to sensationalize the matter, but there was also a solution to the problem.

     In the grand scheme of things, this looks to be a transitional period we’re in. 

    One day the “AI slop” might become so good it pushes human creativity to a level that’s either of a new kind or simply just higher and higher. Life tends to find a way.

    Same with other types of problems, like “critical thinking” and the like.

    This might be a good thing. It may be better for the world to believe that everything is fake than for a privileged few to control what people perceive as real.
