This morning the pre-sale of the Iron Maiden concert in Italy that will take place in 2025 started, I am a big fan of the band and a live music enthusiast. I am 35 years old and I have attended more than 600 concerts (I have a complete list at this link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UtsHiQLhQh0g0xuD1_l2h_E1ex71w6-9-WrxcfQLpDY/edit?usp=sharing )

I’ll start by saying that I don’t like to complain, I think that in general there is a solution to every problem. For example, today I saw the price to see one of the historic heavy metal bands, a single ticket in the half of the field closest to the stage (so simply semi-close, nothing VIP or special) costs 172 Euro.

Be careful, concerts like eating out or going to the theater are not essential activities for living but I believe they help us feel better and enjoy the salaries we receive, but today I stopped and decided not to go, it’s a shame and it hurts but I thought about how many things I could do with that amount of money and I decided to close the cart.

Since in the last few days I have seen music talked about several times in this sub, I give just one personal and non-obligatory piece of advice, if you like live music, give that amount to 10 different bands, there are dozens of concerts between 10 and 20 Euros, it is better to support someone who is paying off their mortgage than a band of multi-millionaires and really, it hurts even just to say it.
