State is still paying for the borderline (read: actual) criminal conduct by Matthew Guy and his “surprise” rezonings. No time to secure infrastructure corridors, no time to institute a proper windfall tax, just enough time to let Liberal donors and powerbrokers buy up the land and pocket the entire uplift in value. Then leave it up to Labor to have to increase taxes after the fact just to be able to afford luxuries like *a park*.
