Aircraft landed on its side at moorabbin airport, slightly damaged fool tank. I think it might be a helicopter judging by flight radar24

Should we be worried about the leaded petrol the prop planes from there spread over the South east?

I hear them flying around a lot, I assume training, but I’m fairly certain lead is still widely used in avgas in Australia?

Why can’t/haven’t we phased it out yet?

What exactly does tipped over look like? On its back? Leaning on a wing?

Also don’t suppose we know the rego?

  3. The FlightRadar screenshot looks like standard GPS drift to me. VH-MRX (Piper Archer II) took off from Essendon seemingly bound for Shepp but turned back around abeam Murchison and diverted to Moorabbin so it’s possibly something about them but I couldn’t find anything out of the ordinary on the ATC feed.
